Compute slice locations for input labels.
Parameters: start : label, default None
If None, defaults to the beginning
end : label, default None
If None, defaults to the end
step : int, defaults None
If None, defaults to 1

kind : {‘ix’, ‘loc’, ‘getitem’} or None
Returns: -
start, end : int
