docker load

Description

Load an image from a tar archive or STDIN

Usage

docker load [OPTIONS]

Options

Name, shorthand	Default	Description
--input, -i		Read from tar archive file, instead of STDIN
--quiet, -q	false	Suppress the load output

Extended description

docker load loads a tarred repository from a file or the standard input stream. It restores both images and tags.

Examples

$ docker images

$ docker load < busybox.tar.gz

$ docker images
